Beyond the Brook
Beyond the Brook
At Beyond the Brook, childhood is meant to be explored—not rushed.
We believe children learn best when they ask questions, get their hands dirty, create, investigate, and discover the world around them. Every class is designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and create meaningful memories through hands-on learning.
Whether we're studying insects beneath a log, creating nature-inspired art, designing STEM challenges, or practicing real-world life skills, every experience encourages children to wonder, think deeply, and belong.
Come discover what's waiting just beyond the brook.
Beyond the Brook was created from a love of childhood curiosity and the beauty found in the natural world. The name is especially meaningful because it was inspired by my daughter, Brooke, whose name reflects the peaceful wonder of nature.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation, a Masters in the Art of Teaching and an Education Specialist in K-12 Administration. As an educator, I believe children deserve opportunities to explore beyond worksheets and screens. They learn best by asking questions, experimenting, observing, creating, and experiencing the world firsthand.
My goal is to create enriching experiences where children feel welcomed, encouraged, and excited to learn each week. Whether we're outdoors discovering nature or indoors solving science challenges and creating art, every class is designed to nurture confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning.
At Beyond the Brook, every child belongs.
I'm glad you're here.
